MANGAMUTU HALL DANCE. The first big dance of the season took place in the Mangamutu Hail oi> Wednesday, when a very large attendance was recorded, visitors being present from all parts of the district. Capital dance music was provided under Mr Wi Duncan’s guidance, and this, combined with the callable management of the M.’sC., Messrs P. J. Henderson, G. P. Burr and R. Wade, had the effect of making the dance go from start to finish with a fine swing, it being thoroughly enjoyed by all present. A daintily-served supper added to the evening’s enjoyment, as also did extras to the dance programme provided hv visitors, these being greatly appreciated. Taken altogether the first dance of the season, so far as the popular Mangamutu Hall is concerned, was a distinct success, both socially and financially.
