WOODVILEE SALE. Wright. Stephenson and Co. Ltd., report: We held our usual fortnightly sale at Woodville on Monday, when we offered a good yarding of sheep and cattle to a good attendance. There was a strong demand for both sheep and cattle, and the bidding was brisk throughout. A total clearance was made at prices well in advance to those ruling at late sales. Following are our prices: Fat lambs, 20s to 235; fat wethers, 225; fat maiden ewes. 20s; 4 and 6-tooth ewes. 19s sd: 2-tooth ewes, 19s; s.m. ewes, 10s 3d to 12s 4d; cull ewes, 5s to 7s; w.f. lambs, 12s Id to 14s 3d; cull lambs, 6s, S.D. rams, 2 to 3 guineas. Cattle: Heifers due factory date. £4 12s 6d; fat cows, £5 10s to £6 5s : forward cows, £3 to £3 14s; store cows, 30s to £2 10s; steers. £3 15s to £5 18s 6d ; 18-months heifers, £2 4s ; P.A. cows, £2 11s; 20montlis steers. £3 19s; bulls. £2 10s to £4.
