I lie Mangahao School Committee held a very successful social and dance ,in the Radiance hall on Wednesday ovenmg, visitors being present from Dannevirke, Pahiatua, Woodvilie and surrounding districts Vocal items rendered bv Mrs Maucli, Airs Holdaway, Messrs Holdaway, Madson, Hill and Harris, and also a recitation by Alls Mcßae, were much appreciated and received hearty encores.
A waltzing competition created considerable interest. Miss M. Gregor v and Mr H, Thompson were adjud-vd the winners, Miss Anderson and Mr I • holey being second. Mrs Windio and Mr F. W. Bibby acted as judges Excellent dance music was supplied by Air B. Bibby, extras being eoutrv bute.d by Airs Maucli and Aliss Callaghan.
