ALLIES FLOOD ENEMY COUNTRY' (Received 10.30 a.m.) Electric Telegraph—Press Association PEKIN. September 3. Wu-Pei-fu is reported to liave been deposed from the command of the anti-Canton Allies and is now virtually a prisoner aboard a war vessel at Y'cnt-tse. Wu-chang is believed to have regained the offensive by the Allies, who opened a dyke flooding the enemy area. Both sides are preparing for a decisive battle lor iios-session of Hankow. which i- overcrowded with refugees.
