WEATHER FORECAST.
ANOTHER GOLD NIGHT. At 2 p.rn. t.o-day the Government Meteorologist (Mr D. C. Rates) telegraphed the following prophecy:— The indications are tor south easterly winds, moderate to strong, and backing, by east to north, then freshening. There is a prospect of fair to cloudy weather with increasin'", haze and cloudiness. The night will probably be very cold, with frosts inland. The barometer has a rising tendency, bnt falling m the beginning of the week.
