LONDON July 8. AA’orders at midnight thought to surprise the Parkliurst prisoner, but lie was wide awake, and sheltered behind a chimney. He sent out a fusillade of slates, but the warders were unhurt and overjiowered the convict, whom they rojied up and lowered to the. ground. He had been foodless for thirty-eight hours.
