The Rugby itinerary of the New South Wales tour of New Zealand is as under; — August 18, arrive at Wellington. August 22, play Wellington-Manawatu-Horowhenua combined, at Palmerston North. August 26, play West Coast-Bul-ler. at Greymouth. August 29, play Otagjo-Southland, at Dunedin. September 2, play CanterburySouth Canterbury, at Christchurch. September 5, play WanganuiTaranaki at Hawera. September 9, play WairarapaBush, at Masterton. September 12, play Poverty BayEast Coast, at Gisborne. September 16, play King Coun-try-Waikato, in King Country. September 19, play New Zealand, only test, at Auckland. September 23, play North Auckland, at Whangarei. Mr S. S. Dean has been re-elect-ed chairman of the New Zealand Rugby Union executive. The New Zealand selectors appointed are as follows: Messrs E. McKenzie, N. McKenzie, W. A. Guy, H. Davis, A. J. Geddes. TEAMS AMALGAMATE. A meeting was held at Hukanui of delegates from the Nireaha and Hukanui football clubs for the purpose of considering amalgamation proposals, says the Express. After discussion it was decided to disband the old clubs and amalgamate the teams from the two districts. Officers were elected as follow: Patron, Mr A. V. Udy; president, Mr J. A. Daysh; vice-presidents, the same as in the old clubs; joint secretaries, E. Harrington and W. W. Drvsdale ; management committee, Messrs J. Dempsey, R. Mabey, J. Spring, H. Reeve, L, Campbell, C. Ross, R. Payne, G. Twentyman; coach, H. Reeve; selection committee, E. Harrington, L. Campbell, with teams’ captains ex officio. The seniors will play as the Hukanui team, and the juniors and thirds Nireaha. The seniors and juniors will play all home matches against the northern teams at Hukanui and against the southern ■ teams at the Nireaha Domain. The seniors will take the fixtures as previously drawn by Hukanui, and the juniors the fixtures as drawn bv themselves. Negotiations, it is understood, are now in progress for an amalgamation of Eketaliuna and Alfredton.
