A total of 120 dozen eggs were railed to Wellington on Thursday by the local Egg Circle. Eketahuna is now coming into greater prominence. M hen the report of the committee appointed to consider applications tor secretary was before the Tarnrua I ower Board on Monday. Mr Purvis Hay, one of the committee. said lie had dissented from the report, as ho understood that tlieir instruction* were to select two or three of the applicants to come before the Hoard. Messrs Judd and Pike were of a similar opinion. The chairman and Air "W ils-on explained that the committee was instructed at the previous meeting to deal with applications and report, and the committee had made a certain recommendation.
