GERMANS ARRESTED

The French arrested Dr Stinnes and his wife in a train at Scharnhorst en route to the Ruin'. They were released after being interrogated and allowed to continue their journey. Herr Hamm, Secretary of State, was arrested in Essen where he intended speaking at the funeral of the Krupp victims. Ex-Minister Giesherts and Stigerwold were also arrested. All were released after the ceremonv.
