GARDEN PARTY

The garden i>arty, held yesterday at the Vicarage grounds, in aid of St. Peter’s Church, was very well patronised. Tho stalls, which were set out very attractively, were under tbe able management of the following : Needlework, The Guild members; »Cake, Me s dames Crewe and Chatwin ; Produce: Mesdames Purdie and Fox ; Afternoon tea., Mesdames Boyens, Monaghan, Haynes, Stokes* O’Styke, Taylor and Cittadini. Tho competitions were won by Mesdames Monaghan, Burrell, Swainson, and Geange. The duties of hon. secretary were ably carried out by Airs F. Burrell. Tho management acknowledge assistance given by Air AV. H. Boyens.
