COUNTRY CUP COMPETITION. The Wellington Provincial Taiw'n Tennis Association’s Country Oup Competition was advanced a further stage on Saturday last, when the Eketahiuia Club visited Pahiatua and p’ayed a team from the Pahiatua Club. Playing conditions were ideal, although the courts were rather soft. The match resulted in a win for Pahiatua by nirm matches to 5, 17 sets to 11, and 155 games to 99.
