I’KDIO REE J HUSKY'S
Palgetv and'Co.. Ltd., report having held a very successful clearing sale of pedigree and grade Jersey cattle at Nirealia on account of the trustees in the estate of the late Alex Prydc. Buyers were present from the Manawatu. Taihape,- and the whole of the AVairarapa and Bush districts. The dairy herd, which was of exceptional quality, was well and favourably known throughout the district and elicited very keen competition. The pedigree cattle were a good lot. and remised the following prices: Cows. 53, 40, 37, 33 and 30gns ; hoifers. 31. 32 r.iijl 46gns; bulls, 20s 30 and 34gns. The grade c-ows made up to £2O. the lot of 37 cows averaging just on .€2l. The grade heifers. 13 in number, averaged close on €ls. while the heifer calves made €6 ss. Farm horses made €3O and €32. while implements and sundries realised good prices.
