At tennis France and America will contest the Davis Cup at Eastbourne on Bth July, 'he “Daily Chronicle'’ states that Kingscote, Park and leading officials find the proposal to select l.yvett to represent England in the Davis Cup is objectionable. In the trial at Amsterdam Holland won the deciding match against South Africa. R avimond was unable to represent South Africa, owing to an accident.
Madamoiselle Lenglen won the women’s tennis championship of trance; also the mixed doubles with Deoilgis. and the women’s doub'es.
