The latter is an adorable act res- fuli of emotional powers. The story is founded on one of the deep emotional forces of human nature. A young man finds that the dull life of his country town is unbearable and dreams of wider opportunities and freer life in a great city. He leaves, and makes a success of his business ™ ro f r .° n coming back, however, tilled with the idea of uplifting its townsfolk. he finds that one ol bis dearecst dreams is shattered. The girl ol whom he had dreamed ha* b»x-n trapped into marriage bv a clever scoundrel. Tlie rest of the story eon with the unmasking of tlie 'iliain. and the final attainment of their heart's desire by hero and heroine. The story abounds with dramatic situations, and the setting and photography are up to the usual higf* standard of Greater Vita graph.
