The Bed Cross Syocin.l and dance in tile Maiigatainoka Library Hall on Friday night attracted a crowded audience, and the function realis'd over £ll. The Mangatuinkoa amateurs mi ng(\l two very entertaining little plays which ori'u.tcd much interest and merriment. The performers in one were Miss Raynor, Miss Walk ley. M iss Baird and Messrs ,T. Paget, R. Lnwry and D. Boyle. Tlie rewpective ixirto wort" very well interpreted. In tho other play the performers were Misses, Marshall (2), Miss Ryan and Mr N. H. B. Marshall. Mis C. Wnlkley played several pianoforte selections and the music for the dancing wan supplied by a number of those present. Songs wore rendered bv Miss I. Raynor and Miss Baird. Tlio M.C. was Mr Oh ay tor. Supper was served by the Ladies’ Committee and the secretarial duties were carefully carried out by Miss G. Raynor.
