Die Senior Cadots held a .soeial ini the Drill Hall last evening, when notwithstanding -the inclement wenther, there was a good attendance. Adams. A recitation was contributed by Mr G, II Hodd. A cake-guessing eompiTtiitioii wa- won. b v Mr -John Dick, non. who donated it -‘for auction. A table centre competition was won by Air L* Johansen. The seeretariar duties were ably 'arried out hv Mr H I’ Fm.llay Tlie proceeds of the social will be devoted to the Soldiers’ Par oel ]., ,nd. Tlie l/.adies’ Patriotic Committee looked after the supper arrangements.
