Aiessr,. Williams and Kettle, Ltd., Dannevirke, report- having held a most successful clearance sale on account ai Mr W. H. Okiridge, of jWoodville. The whole herd of 47 cows and heifers aveiaged a little over £9, prices ranging from £6 2s tid up to £l2 12s 6d, weaners £2, spring dray £8 Ids. The Now Zealand Loan and Mei- ! cantile Agency Company, Ltd., report ! having held a successful sale of- dairy j cows, etc., on iwvount of Mr J. P;vr- ! ish. Hukanui. on Wednesday. There was a very large attendance of buyers, and bidding was spirited throughout the sale. The cows made from £ff 10s to £l2 10s for sound, and £5 5s to £8 for 3-tea tors, the whole herd u' eragig £9 9s. Two-year heifers brought 1 £8 15s to £9, weaner heifers £2 : 2'year bull £7 7s etkl. spring cart mare £lO. Pigs, sundries, etc., sold at full j clearing sale rates.
