A communique states: The enemy iu the Lagarina valley renewed obstinate and bloody attacks which were broken again and again. The Italians on the Asiago plateau occupied and consolidated a position dominating the Asiago basin. s Vienna, Last Night.
A communique states: In the Asiago sector we gained a footing in the southern and eastern slopes of ttie Assa valley. We occupied several heights north of Asiago. We ejected the Italians from their position west and south of Bettale in the upper Posina valley. London, Last Night.
It is estimated that the Austrian losses on the Italian front since May 14 have been 100.000. The ‘‘Daily Mail’s” Aiilan correspondent states that snow in the Southern Tyrol has delayed the Austrian big guns.
