The Athletic events will be run under the rules of the New Zealand Association. 2 Trotting events under the rules of the New Zealand Trotting Aasocia tion. All horses must be registered with the New Zealand Trotting Association before nomination. 3. Competitors in the athletic events must send in a list of performances for the last two years. If no wins marks for starts must be stated. 4. Nominations for events Nos. 1, 2,4, 7,8, 10. 11 and 12 will close with the secretary on FEBRUARY ‘23rd, at noon. Acceptances on the ground. 5. All nominations must bo accompanied with tlio nomination fee. 6. Protests must bo lodged with the (NV"'ot&Ty within ten minutes after the race accompanied with a fee of 2a 6d for athletic events, which ivill be for- . feited if the protest is considered frivolous.
