PRICE OF STOCK.
SLIGHT ADVANCE IN CATTLE. Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., Pahiatua. report as follows on their IVdriatua stock sale, held yesterday:—We liad the usual entry of sheep arid a medium one of cattle. Bidding was spirited for all classes, and practically a complete clearance was made under the hammer. Cattle were slightly in advance 01 last week, sheep on a par with same. The following is a range of prices;—Fat wethers '22-, to 22s lid, lat ewes 21s Id to 21s dd, mixed sex lambs, poor condition 9s lOd to 10s lOd, mixed sex lambs, medium condition. 10s lOd to 11s 2d, two tooth wethers 21s lOd to 245. 2 two tooth ewes 21s Id to 22s 6d. 4 and 5 .year ewes, poor condition. 12s 6d to 14s 3d, 4 and syear ewes, medium condition, Ids to'l7s, old ewes 10s 6d tolls. fat light cow-, €d 2s Gl to £6 7s 6d. fat heifers £4 Ids to £d 12s. empty heifers £3 19s 6d to £4 10s. 13 steers £S lOte. 27 lat and forward cows £8 os 11 heifers. R.W.8., £4 6s, 28 IS months steers £5 2s. 20 weaner heifers 30s, 12 weaners 2- is. other weaners made from 25. to 3ds, store cow- £4 ds to £d. 8 hulls made from £d 7s 6d to £7 ds.
