LOGAN—LYONS
At the Piesbyterioii Church to-day , e marriage took place of Mr Joseph Jxigan. who is Well-known in the Masteuton district, and now ot Rata, Rangitikei. and Miss Eti.el Lvons second daughter of Mrs Lyon's Of Maharahara, Dannevirke. Tie Rev. -M. Bawden Harris officiated. The bride wa.s given away by Dr. Dawson, iina the bridesmaids were Miss Irwin Logan and Miss Idy Lyons. Mr J. Pickford, of Rata, attended as best mail. and Mr S. Lyons was grooiuaV an - The wedding breakfast was par* taken of at Webster s lea Rooms. Mr and Mrs Logan wll take up their residence at Rata.
The brides dress was of white ninon tnmnnd with \ alencinnes lace. She wore the usual veil and orange blossoms. and carried a bouquet of white asters and maiden heir fern. The chief brideniaid wore embroidered i oie. and Miss My Lyons wore fancy voile. Miss Logan carried a pink booqnct and Miss Lyons a blue bouquet. The bride’s mother wore l»I:u-k brocade with touches of heliotrope. The bride travelled In •: navy bbio costume and tagel straw bat. The wedding was a quiet one. the ceremony living witnessed bv the immediate relatives and friends.
Mr and Mrs Logan were the recipients of many congratulatory messages and handsome presents.
