NURSE DISLIKES COOKING.

At the last meeting of the Palmerston North Hospital Board Miss M M. Crochett forwarded her resignation from the nursing staff. The nurse s father also wrote stating that his daughter laid been asked to go into th<' kitchen and work, which was not part of her duties a- a nurse. She had, therefore, resigned. The chairman said the young lady was asked to assist with the cooking in the kitchen and he did not think there was anything undignified in doing such work.
