DUTCH TRADE IN COTTON.

Tiiu Dutch Board of Trade figures for the first nine months of last year show that the imports of cotton were 112,294 metric tons, as compared with 84,777' tons in 1914, and that this total includes 91,270. tons front America, as against 10,038 tons in 1914. The exports of cotton from Holland for tin* first nine months of last year were 96,138 tons, against 60.830 tons in 1914, and of these exports 93,221 tons went to Germany, as against 42,108 in 1914. The correctness of these figures was admitted hv the President of the Board of Trade. To show how recent measures have restricted the traffic, Mr Runciman statt*d that while the imports of rawcotton into the Netherlands during the first six months of last year were 104.000 metric tons and the export--95,t)00 metric tons, the imports during the ensuing three months were 8500 metric tons and the exports 335 metric tons.
