SOLWAY SHOW.

■RECORD EXHIBITION EXPECTED It is stated that the Solway Show this year is going to be the record exhibition of the Masterton A. and P. Association. The entries show that there ‘will be exhibited one of the finest displays of stock ever seen in New Zealand. Each class has filled well, and as some of the most prominent breeders in the Dominion are showing stock, lovers of good animals will find much to interest them at Solway. The general public are being catered for in a manner never before attempted, and a special effort in the way of competitions, efic., has been made. Over one thousand of our New Zealand soldiers will be present to give a display, and in addition the ring events will be more than usually interesting this year owing to the fact that some of the best horses in New Zealand are competing. Hot water will be supplied free, and picnic parties can spend an ideal time under the shade of the beautiful hush. Special trains will run to and from the show at convenient intervals. The trains leave the station at the sliowgrouud gates, and visitors. will find this a great convenience. Those desiring accommodation in Masterton during show week, or any other information concerning the Solway show, should drop a letter card or send a telegram to the secretary (Mr J. B. Emmett). The show will’be held on Tuedaiy and Friday, February 17th and 18th.
