The nnmwil conference of the Tlocomotive Drivers of Now Zealand was opened ibis morning, Mr ,T. Henderson presiding. The Mayor extended a welcome to the delegates. I'lie president said the Executive did uot agree on the whole with the Federation of Labour’s manifesto, and he thought they should all strive to bring the war to a conclusion as soon as possible* and uphold the integrity of the British Empire.
