“CINDERELLA” PANTOMIME.

Visitors to Pahiatua for the Show this week, and also local residents, will be pleased to learn thati Mr George Stephenson has arranged to play the Stanley McKay. Pantomime Co., in the Foresters’ Hall, Pahiatua, next Friday night. It is not often that the country towns of New Zealand luive the opportunity of seeing such a talented company as Mr McKay’s, but judging hv the patronage everywhere accorded them, the public are well alive to the merits of this popular Company. The piece to be staged is one that should appeal to old and young alike, and is written from perhaps the greatest of all fairy stories “Cinderella.” The pantomime closely follows the fairy story, and includes amongst its principal characters Prince Charming, the Baron Ofless. Billy Buttons, Dandini, the Baroness, the Fairy Godmother, the Ugly Sisters and last, but not least. “Cinderella.” New and* up-to-date songs are to be sung, and the latest in solo and ballet dancing introduced. Air Will Rayner, who will be well remembered for Ins magnificent singing as Old King Cole in “Mother Goose,” will be again heard in a number of patriotic songs.- As the Baroness, Afr James Gerald has a part specially written for him, allowing full scope for bis eccentric acrobatic work. Afivs Essie Jennings, Aliss Rosia Coleman, M iss Annie Lillihmd. Afi>s Carman Coleman, Afiss Rubie Raymond. Air Will Speed and the marvellous Fredo Bros, will be seen for the last time in Pahiatua as they sail for Sydney after their Wellington season. The box plan for this production opens at Moore’s on Wednesday.
