EXPLOSION OF KEROSENE.

An explosion of keyosen© last, evening. followed by a- fire, seriously damaged the Sumner pumping station. Mr Winter, the assistant, engineer, who was afire from head to foot, plunged into the rivet and escaped, but. he was seriously injured and stmt to hospital. A big store of kerosene was destroyed.
