NOMINATIONS close at the Secrearv’s office, Woodville, at 8 p.m., on MONDAY, 31st JANUARY, 1916. WEIGHTS for all races on firet day of meeting will be declared on MONDAY. 7th February. 1916. ACCEPTANCES for all racee on first day of meeting and entrance for Maiden and Scurry close with the Secretary at Woodville at 8 p.m. on THURSDAY, 10th February, 1916. WEIGHTS for all races on second day of meeting will be declared about 8.30 o’clock on the evening of the first day’s races. ACCEPTANCES for second day's races close with the Secretary at the Club's rooms, Woodville, at 980 o’clock on the evening of the first day’s races. CONDITIONS. 1. Races 4,6, and 8 on each day are open to all horses. 2. Hack Definition.—No horse shall start in any hack fiat race which has, at any time, prior to the time of entry. won a race of the value of £l6O to the winner, or races of the aggregate value of £4OO to the winner, nor in any hack hurdle race or steeplechase, which has at any time prior to the time of entry, won a race of the value of £l6O to the winner, or races of the aggregate value of £4OO to the winner, provided that in calculating such values any moneys payable by reason only of no other horse winning second or third money shall be excluded. The amount won by any horse in flat races, hurdle races or steeplechases .respectively, ‘shall be estimated separately, and shall not debar such horse from entry except in the special class of race in which he has won the amounts. 3. Every entry shall state the name or assumed name of the owner or owners. 4. Owners of horses which are liable under the Rules of Racing to be bracketed on the Totalisator must give notice to that effect not later than the hour of acceptance or entry for Maiden and Scurry, as the case may be. under penalty of not less than £lO or more than £IOO. PENALTIES. FLAT RACES. —The winner of any flat race (after declaration of weights, if handicapped under Bst. lOlbe) to carry lOlbs penalty, and for every additional race 61ba extra. If handicapped at Bst lOlbs or over, to carry only half the above penalties. HURDLE RACES.—The winner of any hurdle race after declaration of weights to carry lOlbs penalty in the hurdle races, of two or more hurdle races 21 lbs penalty. Telegraph Office closes at 8 p.m. E.
