Tlie following extract from an exchange should he pasted in the lints o! young bowlers, for their future guidance:—"lf we may be permitted to comment ndvcrse'y upon the North Island play we might draw attention to the ‘’inquests'' held on the green by players who, by all tile rules of the game, should lie standing on the, bank, while the third man is giving directions to the skip. This kind of thing is not tolerated in the South Maud, where the rule- of iln game are strictly adhered to. It only requires a lit tle thought lor any plavi r to see that there must lie some order in the game, if it is to bo conducted proper v."
