SALE OF SHEEPSKINS. Electric Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The Department of Agriculture has received tho following cablegram from the High Commissioner, in regard to the sale of sheep-skins, which took place on the 17th: A large proportion of Merinos was withdrawn. The priees declined 20 per cent, and 15 per cent. Tn longwools the decline was the greatest. Tn the ease of sliorns, 1750 hales of New Zealand were offered. Merino full weeded Od to 7|d, shores 3}d to 6Jd, crossbreds fine 7d to 9d, coarse 6d to B]<l, shores 3d to 7Jd.
