WOOL, SKIN AND HIDES. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, report t—There was a good attendance of buyers at our Wellington sale, when we offered a fairly large catalogue. The demand for wool was limited; sheepskins and hides of good quality sold exceptionally well, | and we estimate that for sound hides . we obtained a farthing per lb higher price than last sale. 'Good sound fullwoolled sheepskins sold up to 6*d, but for inferior and damaged low prices had to be accepted. The market for tallow is very weak.
