WAIRARAPA PRESBYTERY.

A meeting of the Wairampa Presbytery was held yesterday at Masterton. The Rev. G. H. McNeur, returned missionary from Canton, gave an address on his work in China, satisfaction being expressed with the progress made.

Delegates to the General Assembly were appointed ns follows:—Minis*, tonal: Revs. AI. Rawden Harris (I aliiAtnn), Tfallidny (Tiiuifidowiu*), s bowel! (Featherstou): elders: Messrs AfuniX). McGregor, and S. Aitcliison; alternates : FI Bloomfield (Pongnron) and W. Aitcliison. Good reports were received of ihe work at Pongaroa. An “in lmno effectual” meeting of Hie Presbytery will be held next, Tuesday at Carterton, lo oonsidor roremifs to the Assembly, which null be hold at Dunedin in November.
