POLITICAL REFORM LEAGUE.

MEETING OF EXECUTIVE. CANDIDATES SELECTED. Electric Telegraoh—Press Association Wellington, Last Night. The Dominion Executive of the New Zealand Political Reform League met to-day, the president (Rt. Hon. W. F. Massey) in the chair. Other members present were:—Sir Walter Buchanan, Messrs D. H. Guthrie, W. H. D. Bell, M’s.P., M. A. Clark "(Auckland), Gilbert Carson (Wangaui), C. Ferguson (Wairau), John MacGregor (Dunedin), Mrs Haslem (Christchurch Women’s League). Apologies were received from Messrs R. Scott, M.P., H. D. Acland (Christchurch), and E. W. Alison (Auckland). The President, in opening proceedings ,welcomed Mr Gilbert Carson, expressing appreciation of the fact shat the executive would have the benefit of his experience and judgment. It was decided to arrange Tor tlie annual conference of branches to be held in AVellington on Thursday and Friday, 16th and 17th July. Mr C. H. Williams, of Hastings, wrote resigning membership of the executive and he was accorded a vote of thanks for past services. Reports presented by organisers all indicated healthy progress, branches and sub-brauclies of the League having been opened at Raetihi (Waiinariuo), Waipapakauri (Bay of Islands), Kumara (Westland).
