MR FISHER IN THE SOUTH.

ANOTHER GOOD MEETING. Electric Telegraph—Press Association Clinton, Last Night. The Hon. F. Al. 11. Fisher addressed a large audience at Clinton to-night. I n a vigorous, trenchant speech he criticised the Opposition and indulged in scathing gibes at their alleged absence of a policy and contradictions of each other. The speech was entirely on the lines of the one given at AA'inton . He dealt with the alleged understanding between the Liberals and the Federation of Lalwnir, the land and naval policy of the Government and Old Ago and other pensions and advocated universal pensions. Replying to a question in reference to holding military camps in winter he explained that it was due to'General Sir lan Hamilton's visit and they would be held earlier in future.

He was given a cordial, attentive hearing with frequent applause l and at the conclusion a vote of thanks and confidence in the Government was pnsNod with cheers for the Massey Party.
