An arbitration tribunal is investigating Britain’s and the United States’ claims arising out of the war of 1812. It, has awarded a thousand pounds sterling against the United States .with ninety-three years’ interest, for an illegal seizure of a. British ship, commanded by Lord Nelson two weeks before the war broke out. The tribunal re-assembles in July at Paris, when tho remaining decisions will lie given.
