TENDERS will be received at the office of the undersigned until 5 p.m. on FRIDAY, the sth day of December, 1913, for the following works: — Contract No. 198.—Supply and delivery of 1600 c.y. (more or less) of rock metal and shingle on the Pon-garoa-Akitio Road, between Burling’s Homestead and Tylee’s Hill. Contract No. 199.—Supply and delivery of 1650 c.y. (more or less) of rock metal on the Glenora Road, Akitio-Back Station. Contract No. 200. —Supply and delivery of 1385 c.y. (more or less) of rock metal from Green’s Quarry on the Alfredton-Weber road, between Pongaroa and Waione Townships. Contract No. 201. -Supply of material and construction of one concrete culvert 54ft in length, 4ft- x 4ft., and about 350 c.y. of earth filling on the Akitio Bridge Approach Road, near G.P.0., Akitio. Contract No. 202.—Supply and delivery of 120 c.y. of rock metal Waihi Falls and Oporao Road. This work is in connection with metalling approaches to bridges. Each Tender is to be on a printed form, accompanied by a deposit of 5 per cent., to the County Chairman, and marked “Tender for Contract No. 198, etc.” For fuller particulars ring up No. 1, Pongaroa, and specifications may be inspected at the office of the undersigned.
