BUTTER-FAT COMPETITION.
Excellent entries have been received for the champion dairy cow competition of the Pahiatua-Akitio A. and P. Association. The number of cows entered totals 13, being five ahead of last year. The quality of the animals competing is of a high order. The milking tests will bo taken on December 7 and 8. A meeting of the committee will be held in the secretary's office on Tuesday next to appoint the stewards for the competition. Following is the list of the entries: —Mrs L. E.
