Next Saturday evening, August 3rd, at the Olympic Theatre, by arrangement with Messrs J. and N. 'l'ait, the story of th “Kelly Gang” by biograpli will be shown in living, moving pictures. These desperate busliranging days of nearly thirty years ago will be vividly reproduced in life-size personalities, the pictures have all been taken at the exact locale of each desperate event, and faithful reproductions obtained by the engaging ,of a number of actors and actresses f.o rmontlis, who lived in the bush, and dressed to represent the bushrangers and police, and after thorough rehearsals were gone through the cinematograph operators then ••took” them, after which they shifted camp to the scene of the next portion of the depredators' career. The final burning of the Glenrowan hotel is a piece of realism that completely carries away "the audience, and makes them imagine they are witnessing the tragedy which closed the career of the last busliranging gang of Australia. In addition to the Kelly Gang” pictures, which are over' 4000 feet in length, and cost £IOOO to produce. a number ef the latest English, American and Continental films will be shown.
