LONDON PASSENGER TRAFFIC

The chief underground railways, motor and horse omnibus companies have resolved to form a London Passenger Traffic Board to consider the question of remunerative lares. One hundred and ten motor omnibuses have been withdrawn from the service, it being alleged that a penny a mile is necessary to ensure a profit. There are 850 motor omnibuses still running in the London street area. The Street Noise, Abatement Committee allege that tlie motor omnibuses and traction engine traffic has depreciated London bouse property by six million pounds.
