(From Our Own Correspondent.) July 25. An important decision was taken by the \\ oodvillo School Committee at ils meeting on Monday evening. It received, like other committees, the circular of the Itihle in Schools League, suggesting that the Bible should he read in schools as a history, without comment, and it agreed to the suggestion. No doubt the decision will give rise to a big discussion. It also received an offer of trees I nun the Forestry Department, and agreed .to accept them, hut as .Vrhonr Day is to-ilav (Wednesday) it will not he able to celebrate it by planting them.
