Electric Telegraph—Press Associv tKjD Wairoa, July 2tr. • Complaints are made as to tbe ao journment of the Tai Rawhiti Land Board, which is supposed to sit here every two months, and only sat once in March. The sitting is now adjourned to August 14th. The reason given is bad roads, but the mail coach is running as usual. The board is supposed to expedite native land matters, but it is alleged that much inconvenience and trouble have been caused by these delays, as leases cannot he confirmed and the alnd worked. A very large area is awaiting settlement at the back door, but it is expected an improvement in administration lias stii- to come.
