FAULTY COAL TRIMMING
MISHAP TO A MAMMOTH LINER. Electric Telegraph—Press Association. Berlin. July 22. While coaling at Bremenhaven the the Xorddeutscner-Lloyd liner Kaiser Wilhelm 11., through being improperly trimmed, careened and lay with her side on tbe bottom. Hundreds of tons of water poured into tii,- vessel s bunkers and boiler compartments. It is believed, however, that she is now much damaged. (The Kaiser William li. is one of the fastest and largest of the splendid Norddeutseher neet. and is a magnificent monument to German shipbuilding and industrial art. Her tonnage is 19,361. She holds the record among tbe company's vessels for a soingle day’s steaming- 483 knots.)
