APPEAL COURT.

The Appeal Court is to-day hcarirgi a motion by the Canterbury Law ' Society to strike * rederiok Fuller, barrister, off the rolls or suspend him on the ground ol tuilure to pay over motley to a client and tuilure to keep a trust account. In his affidavit Fuller admitted tuilure to pay .but stated that the money (Ll 4 12s) had been paid since, and thought he v.as entitled to retain it. as it had been received in connection with an estate he was settling. He denied that he lint ended to retain it permanently. On hchult ot Air Fuller Mr Wilton! urged that as there was no* dislawiest intent the Court should not make the rule absolute. The proceedings were a sufficient lesson to his client. and be would not be Likely to make siieb a mistake again.
