RELIEF’ COURT. PAHIATUA COUNTY. PURSUANT to saction 60 of the “Counties Act, 1886,” I hereby appoint Thursday, the 14th day of June, 1906, at 2 p.m. in the afternoon, as the time, and the Courthouse, Pahiatua, as the place, at which a sitting of the Relief Court will be held, to hear and determine all objections and applications that may have been made in respect of the Electoral Rolls for the various ridings of the said county. SPECIAL ORDER LEVYING SPECIAL RATE—No. 72. is hereby given that at a -L v Special Meeting of the Pahiatua County Council, held on May 5, 1906, a resolution was passed and adopted by Special Order, making and levying a' special rate of threeeighths of a penny in the pound upon the unimproved rateable value of the Sections comprising the Pukewhai Bridge Special Rating District, viz. : Sections 67, 68, 79, 80, 106, 107, 110, and parts of Sections 81, 109 and 111, Block XXV'., and Section 74, Block Xlll—all in the Mangahao Survey District, to provide interest and other charges on a Loan of Two Hundred and Fifty Pounds to bo raised by the said Council under sub-sec-tion 4 of section 14 of “The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1901,” and subsection C of section 8 of “The Local Bodies Loans Act Amendment Act, 1903,” for the purpose of erecting (assisted by a Government grant) a light traffic bridge over the Mangataiaoka River on the Pukewhai-road, the said loan to be for a term of 41 years at 4 per cent, pier annum, or until the loan is fully paid off. And it is further notified that a meeting of the said Council will be held on June 9, 1906, to confirm the said Special Order, a copy of which is now open for inspection at the Cowaty office.
