Received this dwj at 10.7 a.m. Melbourne, February 25. The Englishmen won by eight wickets. Tbe second innings of the Victorians closed for 132. Tne following are the additional scores :—Laver. 23; McLeoi, 17 ; McMichael. 0; 4\ oodford ,15 ; Stuckey. 54; Collins not out. 4. extras 4. Braund took 3 wickets lor 97, Blythe 3 for 23. McGahey 3 for 38. Requiring 1-4 to win. the Englishmen lost two wickets in obtaining them. Robson 7, Garnett 3. McGahey not oat 4, Jones not out. nil.
