Lowes and lorns Ltd., report at their Bush Gully sale, on Friday last, a heavy yarding of stock—fully ” 11,000 shfep and 500 head of cattlo being submitted at auction. The quality of the stock i hroughout was good, particularly some litres in fats, and buyers being present froiu Wairarapa and also from the South' Island. Tho whole of the list was cleared with the exception of 2tooth wethers. Good sound rates wore maintained all round, and in fats an advance of Gd per head on recent rates ruling. Tho side, from eyery point of view, must bo considered a success, and augurs well for next season and tho public must recognise the Bush Gully fixture as a boim Jiitr sale. Prime fat wether*, 4-tooth Lincoln-Leicester, made 12s; others 11s Gd ; fat 2-tooth wethers Us Id; fat maiden owes 10s Gd to Us: orliers 8s Cd ; 2-tooth ewes, Gs lid; 4 and G*tooth ewes, to 7s Gd ; culled 2-tooth 5s Gd. Cattle—Fat cows and heifers. JCS to £5 10*; 8-year-old bullock-, £G lo £() 7« Gd; 2A year steers £4 lO.s; yearling steers. £ii 2s Gd to X 3 ss.
