SENSATIONAL ACCIDENT IN A DOCK.
Two Men Drowned and Others Injured. liy Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. Per Press Association. Received 10. SO a.m. Sydney, This Day. A sensational accident took place at Morts Dock. While the steamer Katoomba was being docked the tackle collapsed, and she slipped from the cradle. A large number of dock hands were thrown into the water, and two named Nelson and Gallagher were drowned. Two others, Morley and Remingbougli, were injured, the others saved themselves by swimming ashore. liy the fore plunge the steamer backed right across the bay and narrowly escaped running into several ferry steamers moored on the opposite side.
