WEATHER FORECAST.
Captain Edwin wires to-day. Wind between between south-east and north at all places; barameter fall everywhere. Sea heavy on eastern coast north of East Cape, ahd increasing from thence southward ; moderate on ail western coast. Tides hign on east coast and north of East Cape and good southword of Napier; low on all western coast. Easterly gales and rain are to be expected at all places northward of East Cape, Taupo and Hanglan, and moderate to fresh northerly winds elsewhere.
