Eastern news states that two mission stations at Kuchen belonging to the lTyinoulh Brethren were destroyed by fanatical Chinese. Five lady teachers had a narrow escape and sought refuge in the house of a European, which was burned, they eventually managed to cerape to the hills. Tho Catholic mission was also attacked.
