Mails close as follows : Wellington and Wairarapa, 1.30 p.m. daily. Palmerston North and Manawatu, 7.45 a.m. and 12.45 p.m. daily. Napier and intermediate, 10.45 a.m. and 4 p.m. daily. Puhiatua Railway, 12.45 p.m., and 7.45 p.m. daily. Eketahuna and Masterton, 1.30 p.m. and 7.45 p.m. daily. Woodville, 7.45 a.rn., 10.45 a.m., 12.45 p.m. and 4 p.m. daily, Makuri and Ngacuri, 2.15 p.m. daily. Mangatainoka, 7.45 a.m., 11.45 p.m., and 4 p.m. daily. Mangahao and liallance, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, 7.45 a.m. Kaitawa, Tane, Rongomai, Tuesdays, Thursday and Saturday, 2.15 p.m. Kohinui and Makairo, Wednesday and Saturday, 2.15 p.m. Konini, Hamua and Newman, 9.45 a.m. daily. The next English and European mail via Rio de Janeiro (per Aotea) will close at the local post office on Tuesday, the 14th day of September at 1.30 p.m., due London November 4th. The next English and European mail via San Francisco will close at the local post office on Wednesday, the 29th day of September, at 1.30 p.m., due London November 3rd.
